The BMS is the organisation centre for JKSimBlast. Here the user can define how to group and relate the data created and collected by the design and analysis programs (i.e. 2DBench, 2DRing and 2DFace) as well as other applications.
Data generated in mining activities is inherently hierarchical in nature, so a relational database schema is a perfect mechanism for the storage and manipulation of data. This is the schema adopted by the BMS. As each object is created in a primary table, it is assigned a unique ID, a name, a parent ID and a type ID. There are a number of data objects available in the BMS program, including: Mine, Geotechnical Domain, Blast Fragmentation, Costs, Survey Point, Bench Photographs, Videos, Graphs and Generic Files. A BMS database is automatically generated and displayed in a TreeView control: In addition to the data management features such as searching, filtering, transferring and archiving.Tthe BMS also incorporates a number of extra tools for the evaluation and reporting of data such as 3D visualisation and compliance reports. |
